Looking Back on Their Primary School Journey
Year 6 pupils at St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Newton Aycliffe enjoyed a heartwarming and memorable experience as they opened letters they had written to themselves back in Year 2 with Mrs Ward.
The special activity gave the children the chance to look back at their younger selves and reflect on how much they have grown and changed during their time at primary school.
Hopes, Dreams and Happy Memories
As they read through their letters, pupils discovered the hopes, dreams and thoughts they had shared four years ago. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and moments of nostalgia as they compared their Year 2 aspirations with where they are today.
The experience provided a wonderful opportunity for children to celebrate their achievements and appreciate just how far they have come on their learning journey.
